Ghana Airways Asks For Divine Intervention

Having failed in their numerous attempts to salvage the sinking image and fortune of their corporation, workers of Ghana Airways have turned to divine solutions.

A notice sighted by the EVENING NEWS yesterday indicates that the workers and management would hold a prayer session on Saturday August 7, 2004 from 9-12 noon at the Ghana Airways Training School.

The notice further informed workers and the public that the prayer session would be on a theme crafted from Psalm 102 verse 13 which states, ?Thou shall arise and have mercy.?

An exhortation also stated, ?Men ought to pray and need not to faint.?

A handwritten plea ostensibly coming from a worker cried, ?God help Ghana Airways?.

The notice concluded, ?Come and be blessed.?

It would be recalled that the management of Ghana Airways under Mr. Philip Owusu, last year organised a similar programme to ostracise the corporation from the pernicious perils that had afflicted it over the years.
