GHACEM workers told to work hard to maintain production level

Tema, March 02, GNA – Mr Jean-Marc Junon, Chief Operating Officer of the Heidelberg Cement Africa Group and Chairman of the Ghana Cement Company (GHACEM) Board of Directors, has called for closer collaborations between management and staff of GHACEM to ensure industrial harmony and productivity.

Mr Junon, who led a three-member delegation to Ghana, made the call during a familiarisation tour to the GHACEM factory in Tema. He entreated workers in the 12 affiliated Cement Companies of the Germany-based Heidelberg Cement venture to continue to exhibit commitment and seriousness to duty.

Mr Isaac Atta, Production Manager said GHACEM had the production capacity of 900,000 tonnes per annum. The delegation has since left for Nigeria.
