GETFund supports three communities

Kumasi, Aug 16, GNA – The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is building a six-unit classroom block each for three deprived communities in the Adansi South District.

The communities are Edwenease, Kwadwomankrom and Aworoso.

Mr Ernest Kofi Yakah, the Member of Parliament for New Edubiase who was inaugurating a cadet corps for the Divine Intervention Preparatory School at Anloga in Kumasi, said the projects were in response to an appeal he made to the Fund.

Mr Yakah stressed the need for people to promote education in rural areas.

Togbui Mawufeame Fugah, President of the Anloga Carpenters Association, appealed to members of the cadet corps to assist the school authorities to enforce discipline.
