GES reacts to rumour about teachers’ release

Techiman (B/A), July 17, GNA- The Ghana Education Service (GES) has no plans to withdraw professional teachers from private schools.

A statement from the School Management Committee (SMC) of Takyia Ameyaw Junior Secondary School in Techiman made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the outcome of consultations with the GES showed that there was no truth in the rumour.

It assured school managements, teachers and students that the school would continue to receive support from well-wishers and friends despite the death of Osabarima Takyia-Ameyaw 11, ex-Omanhene of Techiman Traditional Area after whom the school was named.
