GES and NADMO to help re-roof Akyem Asafo RC JSS

Akyem Asafo (E/R), Jan. 5, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Owusu, Headmaster of the Roman Catholic Junior Secondary School (JSS) at Akyem Asafo, has appealed to the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to re-roof the school building. The roof was ripped off during a rainstorm, recently.

Mr Owusu said the 140 students were having their classes under trees and in makeshift structures adding that the school was closed anytime it was about to rain.

He also pleaded with benevolent societies and non-governmental organisations to go to the assistance of school create conducive teaching and learning environment for the children. 5 Jan. 06
