Germany launches news scholarship scheme for Ghanaians

Accra, Aug. 18, GNA – The German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) on Wednesday announced a new scholarship programme for Ghanaian Students for 2005.

A statement issued by the Germany Embassy in Accra to the Ghana News Agency, said the scholarship is open to former German Scholarship holders; research grants for doctoral candidates and young academics and scientists.

The scholarship would also cover research grants to support extended medical continuing education and training (not medical specialisation) as well as combined programmes for research in Germany and Ghana dubbed “Sandwich-Model”.
