The New Patriotic Party’s George Andah has beat Awutu Senya West MP Hanna Tetteh who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs And Regional Integration.
Mr Andah got 28,867 votes while Ms Tetteh got 25,664 votes.
The two fought a bitter contest fraught with name-calling and recriminations.
Ms Tetteh has been MP for the constituency for three consecutive terms.
