GCPP Would Have Domesticated TOR

The leader of Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) Mr Dan Lartey says, his government would not have allowed the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), to operate and leave a total debt of ?4.5 trillion, if his party were elected to rule the country.

Mr Dan Lartey told Peace fm on Tuesday that, he would have domesticated TOR, to use local raw materials to produce fuel products, to enable it generate money to pay off its debt.

He said the GCPP or CPP would structure TOR in a manner that, the government would pay-off the debt and even subsidise petroleum products, instead of the recent increment by the NPP government, which would only stop the debt from attracting more interests.

He therefore urged President Kufour to deliver on his campaign promises, before the people start telling him that he is inefficient.
