GBA executives returned un-opposed

Elmina (C/R), Oct. 1, GNA- All the executive members of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) were on Wednesday returned unopposed at their elections held at Elmina in the Central Region.

The elections, formed part of activities of the GBA’s national annual general conference, which opened on Monday with the theme, “consolidating constitutionalism in Ghana, the role of the legal profession”.

Members of the GBA by acclamation returned Mr. Paul Adu-Gyamfi as their President.

Other members retained are, Nii Osah-Mills national vice-President, Mr. Benson Nutsukpui, national Secretary and Mr Peter Zwennes, the national assistant secretary.

Mrs Merley Wood, is the national treasurer and Mr. Kwesi Cab-Addae, the Public Relations Officer.

Mr Adu-Gyamfi, on behalf of the other executives, thanked members for the confidence reposed in them.

He assured them that he and his colleagues would discharge their duties in the best interest of the association, and appealed to members for their support and co-operation.
