Most gas filling stations in the metropolis had run out of gas resulting in long cylinder queues at the few filling stations.

When the Ghana News Agency visited some filling stations in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, it observed that, ‘No Gas’ inscriptions had been displayed at the entrances of the filling stations.

However, at Apremdu and Edzii gas filling stations; there were long-winding queues, with prospective buyers waiting anxiously for their turn.

Some of the people told the GNA that they had been to three or more gas filling stations in the metropolis without getting the product to buy.

They appealed to the government to take measures to stock more gas to avoid the inconveniences people are facing now.

The GNA observed that some of the gas cylinders had rusted while others had been painted with oil paints, which experts say was dangerous.
