Gakus is dead

Accra, Oct 13, GNA – The death is reported of Mr Setorwu Gagakumah, 51, a free lance journalist at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Saturday, October 8, this year after a short illness.

Mr Gagakumah, popularly known as Gakus by his inky fraternity colleagues had worked with the Ghana News Agency and The Mirror before joining the Neoplan Ghana Limited as Public Relations Officer. He turned a free lance and was a contributor to New Africa and Africa Business Magazine.

Gakus was a brother to Ms Joyce Gagakumah, Assistant Headmistress of St John’s Grammar School, Major Selase Gagakumah of the Ghana Armed Forces and a cousin to Mr Justice Tsar of the Office of the President. According to a family spokesman Gakus will be buried on November 18, this year at Tsito in the Volta Region.
