GAF holds open day session for civilians

The Ghana Armed Forces is undertaking an open day ceremony today, Tuesday 7 March, to offer civilians the opportunity to access some of their facilities in the military.

The exercise is a tradition observed a day after Ghana’s Independence Day celebration. The military opens its doors to all civilians, especially school children, to have a feel of what goes on in their line of duty.

Speaking to Class News, the media liaison officer of the event at the Ghana Air Force, Flt.Lt. Ama Serwaa, said the exercise strengthens the relationship between civilians and the military.
