Accra, Dec. 22, GNA – The GaDangme Youth Council on Wednesday congratulated President John Agyekum Kufuor on his re-election and urged him to address the problems facing the youth.
A statement signed by Mr R. A. Lamptey, President of the Council, appealed to the Government to revive the Workers’ Brigade of Dr Kwame Nkrumah in every region in order to solve the unemployment problems facing the youth.
They appealed to President Kufuor to consider releasing part of unutilised lands acquired by previous governments for government projects to their original owners, adding: “This may go a long way in solving some of the numerous problems facing our chiefs.”
