GaDangme Europe meets Hannah Tetteh

On Friday 22nd August 2014, Members of GaDangme Europe led by Naa Tsotsoo Soyoo I, met Hannah Tetteh, Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the new Foreign Affairs building in Airport Residential area in Accra.

In her interactions with the GDEU, the Minister advised the group to contact the Ministry and its affiliate Missions abroad for support in its initiatives.

She said her Ministry is ready to work with the GDEU in its bid to promote development of the GaDangme people. She cautioned against using the Ministry’s Diaspora Listening Events as platforms for political battles but as a means of engaging Government in identifying the needs of those in the Diaspora to provide practical solutions.

In another development, The Group has arranged an appointment to meet with the Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take the discussions further.

The GDEU will hold a Press Conference on Wednesday 27th August at Pavilion E, Trade Fair Centre, Accra at 10am.
