Ga presby men holds confab

Ga Presbytery Men’s Fellowship of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has held its two-day annual delegates’ conference at the Presbyterian Women’s Centre at Abokobi in Accra.

The conference held on the theme: “The fruit of the Holy Spirit and the Believer; the Role of Men in the Church Today,” saw men in the fellowship gather to worship the Lord.

President of the fellowship and chairperson for the conference, Stephen Yaw Ofori, in his address, appealed to members to commit to the aims and objectives of the fellowship and ensure that they evangelise for more men to join the church.

District Minister of Adabraka and Director of Church Life and Nurture of the Presbyterian Church, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Lawson, delivered a presentation on the group’s strategic plan spanning 2014 to 2017.

The two-day conference was closed with a thanksgiving service at the Teshie Peniel Congregation.

For his part, District Minister of Teshie, Rev. Victor Okoe Abbey, in his sermon, appealed to the delegates to draw nearer to Christ.
