MCE wants Heads of Departments to support government

Ejisu (Ash), June 19, GNA – Mr. Mohammed Boakye Agyemang, Municipal Chief Executive for Ejisu-Juabeng, has appealed to heads of decentralized departments in the country to support the government to enable it push its development agenda forward. Mr. Agyemang made the appeal at the First Ordinary Meeting of the Municipal Assembly at Ejisu.

He said no government could implement its programmes and policies successfully without the support, co-operation and expertise of the heads.

He said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government would continue with the good policies and programmes initiated by the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) government. Mr. Agyemang said the Assembly had acquired an excavator at a cost of GH¢229,310 and was bought from the Assembly’s Common Fund to be used to reshape feeder roads in the area. Mr. Kwabena Owusu Aduomi, the Member of Parliament for Ejisu-Juabeng, urged the Assembly Members to bury their differences to move the municipality forward.
