Funds for Otumfuo Trust Fund

Pokoase (G/A) May 16 GNA – Dr. Prince George Appiah, Managing Director of PGA Lab and Research Centre, a non-governmental organisation at Afiaman, near Pokuase, has donated 48 million cedis to be spread over a period of four years as his contribution to the Otumfuo Education Trust Fund.

Dr Appiah disclosed this when he launched a one year free education on Cosmetology for more than 200 unemployed youth at Afiaman. Dr Appiah appealed to philanthropist in the country to contribute towards education by providing money or educational materials. He said he has plans to establish large farms to give employment to youths in the area.

Nii Otto Kwame iii, chief of Pokuase commended Dr. Appiah for his support for people in the area and appealed to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Amasaman district Assembly to released part of the Pokuase Agriculture land given them by the chiefs to Dr Appiah for his farming projects.
