FULL SPEECH: Prez Mahama’s final State of The Nation Address

President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday delivered his final State of The Nation Address in Parliament as he marked the end of a four-year tenure.

The President used the opportunity to among others, touch on the many successes chalked by his government in the past few years playing up the massive infrastructural development the country has seen since his election to the high office.

The President, whose tenure runs out on Saturday January 7, also spoke of steps that have been put in place to ensure that Ghana becomes self-sufficient as far as power is concerned.

‘Ghana is entering into a power self sufficient capacity’.

On education, President Mahama mentioned the increase in student performance in the last four years attributing the shift to interventions put in place by his administration.
