Fulani man shot dead in the Eastern region

A Fulani old man has been shot dead Thursday dawn at Maame Krobo in the Eastern region.

Narrating the incident to Starrfmonline.com, an eyewitness Eric Dzakata said the incident occurred between 4am and 5am.

“I heard three gunshots between 4 and 5am and thought it was a hunter hunting at that time because that is what usually happens so I didn’t take it serious, but when I stepped out of the house around 6:30am I heard of the shooting of a Fulani old man.

“I got to the scene and realised it was true, from what I saw the man was shot three times by unknown assailants and the police came to the scene.”

The deceased was conveyed to the Donkorkrom Mortuary. Police has since commenced investigation into the incident.
