Fuel prices to go down marginally

Petroleum prices are expected to go down marginally on March 31 when the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) announces new prices for fuel.

With the exception of LPG and maybe kerosene, the price of all the others will go down.

According to a Petroleum Price Indicator on the website of the NPA, the price of petrol and diesel are expected to decrease by 0.32 and 0.62 per cent respectively.

They are presently selling at 2 Cedis 55 pesewas and 2 Cedis 65 pesewas per liter respectively.

Petrol and diesel went up by 4.58 and 2.28 per cent respectively the last time petroleum prices were reviewed on March 1.
