Fuel prices go up Sunday

Fuel prices will be adjusted upwards on Sunday, December 1, 2013.

According to the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), the price of petrol has been increased by over 3 per cent.

It will sell at 219.00 pesewas per litre.

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) had the highest price increase of over 11 percent.

Kerosene will also go up by 10.99 per cent. The current ex-pump price for Gas oil is 222 pesewas a litre, the new price will now be 226 pesewas per litre. The price of premix fuel remains unchanged. It currently sells at 116.00 pesewas a litre.
