Fresh attacks in Nakpanduri, three shot

There have been fresh gun attacks in Nakpanduri in the Northern region.

Three people have been shot and are injured while over a dozen houses have been torched and destroyed.

The Police have deployed personnel into the town to ensure peace.

None of the suspects has yet been arrested, according to report.

Assistant Superintendant of Police (ASP) Ebenezer Tetteh, Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer stated that one Sakuaka Dinja, 28 was allegedly shot in the head and killed by unknown assailants on Wednesday. He said the Bimobas, who suspected members of the Bongini village for committing the act, mobilized and attacked the community, which was predominately Mamprusi and Konkomba settlement.
