Businesswoman, Mrs Freda Darko has asked Central Regional Minister, Samuel Sarpong to, as a matter of urgency, retract comments he made about her company – Freko F.D. Limited- during his vetting by the Appointment Committee of Parliament early this year.
Mrs Darko in a petition to the Speaker of Parliament copied to President John Mahama and other government agencies alleged that Mr Sarpong made what she described as unsavoury comments about her company, in an attempt to draw her hard won reputation in the mud.
Consequently, the petition requests government to launch full-scale investigations into the submissions of the former Ashanti regional minister.
