Free and quality education for Ghanaians- Hadjia Samira Bawumia

Hadjia Mrs Samira Bawumia, wife of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential running mate, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, has called on Ghanaians to vote the NPP into power come December 2012, to enjoy free and quality education in the nation.

She encouraged the youth to join the party to secure their future as the NPP has better policies for them and the country as a whole.

Speaking at a meeting with the residents of Nima at the Nima-Madina Trotro Station, over the weekend, Mrs Bawumia said the NPP would help the deprived communities through quality education and training internship programs if voted into power.

Mrs Bawumia said Ghanaians should consider the achievements of the NPP government such as the National Health Insurance Scheme, free maternal care and the school feeding program and vote for the party.

Alhaji Yusif Fofana, NPP parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso East constituency, urged Ghanaians to vote out the National Democratic Congress government in the forth-coming elections as they have failed with their Better Ghana Agenda.

He stressed on the free Senior High School policy of the NPP and assured Ghanaians that it would materialize when they are voted into power.

“We are ready to take over the country,” he said, and assured Ghanaians that the NPP would develop the country.

“Girls Girls for Nana Addo 2012”, an association of freethinking young women who are aligned to the party, hosted the meeting.

The party officials and supporters, after a clean-up exercise in the Nima community, went to the Nima market to interact with the traders on the policies of the NPP and how they intend to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
