A former New Patriotic Party aspirant of the Adetan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Frances Abena Asiam has on Rainbow Radio 87.5fm stated that she has formed a political party to ostensibly contest the 2016 general elections.
Frances Asiam said the treatment she is receiving from her political party made her form her own party called the New Generation Party.
She was reacting to a statement made by the National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament for La/DadeKotopon, Hon. Nii Amasah Namoale on Rainbow Radio Breakfast Show that she (Frances Asiam) has missed the NDC and wish to join the umbrella party again.
The former women’s organiser of the NDC, who joined the NPP years back, noted that it is only in the dreams of the NDC–MP that she wants to join the NDC again.
Frances Asiam disclosed that she has been visiting the Flagstaff House to do other things but her visits have nothing to do with politics.
The female astute politician stated that nothing on earth will let her join a party that former President Jerry Rawlings is a member.
