Fourth Golden Jubilee Lecture Postponed

Accra. April 24, GNA – The Ghana @ 50 Secretariat has announced the postponement of the Fourth Golden Jubilee Lecture scheduled for Thursday April 26 2007 to allow for the refurbishing of the Conference Hall of the Accra International Conference Centre.

Professor Kwame Gyekye of the Department of Philosophy of the University of Ghana, Legon was scheduled to speak on: “Our Cultural Values and National Orientation.”

A new date would be announced in due course, a statement from the Secretariat signed by Pro. Gyeke, Coordinator of the “Golden Jubilee Lectures”, on Tuesday said.
