Four truck pushers threaten to kill a retired educationist

Tema, April 1, GNA- Four truck pushers at Ashaiman who threatened to kill a retired educationist have been granted 20 million cedis bail by the Tema circuit court “A”. Yaw Sarpong, Prince Addae, Wisdom Labal and Samuel Tawiah pleaded not guilty and will reappear on April 27.

Police Inspector Adolphus Otchere, told the court that on October 10, 2003, Mr Peter Tetteh Obibua alleged that the truck pushers blocked the pavement and lane to their house at Ashaiman making it impossible for people to pass into the house. He said the complainant on seeing this, told the truck pushers to clear the road, and by saying so, they became offended, held him and dumped him into a gutter in front of his house.

Inspector Otchere said a report was made to the police and the four accused persons were arrested.
