Four remanded in prison custody over murder

Breman Asikuma (C/R) April 8, GNA-Four persons from Breman Towoboase, who are helping the police in connection with the murder of a five-year-old Felicia Abaka at Breman Towoboase were remanded in prison custody by Breman Asikuma magistrate’s court when they made their second appearance at the court on Thursday.

They are Isaac Awuku, aged 49, Kojo Asare 28 and niece to the deceased, Esi Nkrumah, 60 and Faustina Acquah 35.

Their pleas were not taken and the court, presided over by Miss Cynthia Hammond ordered them to re-appear before the court on May 10, 2007.

The decomposed body of Abaka was found sometime in March on the outskirts of Towoboase near Breman Aikuma under a big tree with parts of the body missing.
