Four NDC supporters die in auto crash

Supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) from the Assin Awisam in the Assin North District of the Central Region have been involved in a fatal accident.

Four of them have been confirmed dead while scores sustained various degrees of injuries after the Kia Truck in which they were being conveyed reportedly burst a tyre.

Rose Odumaa of Bryt Fm, who spoke to an eyewitness one Prof. Elijah, said the party supporters were on their way from a football match organized by some NDC leaders between Akenyasi and Assin Awisam.

According to him, they were about 120 of them seated at the bucket of the Kia truck before the unfortunate incident.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the New Edubiase hospital morgue pending autopsy whiles the rest are on admission at the same facility receiving treatment.
