Four more arrested for Seikwa Omanhene’s murder

Eight people have so far been arrested in connection with the murder of the Omanhene of the Seikwa Traditional Area, Nana Kwaku Dwuma Ankoana II.

The acting Brong Ahafo Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Mr Patrick Sarpong, who made this known to the Daily Graphic in Sunyani, however, refused to give the names of the suspects.

Four people were earlier arrested and brought to the Police Headquarters in Accra to assist in investigations.

According to ACP Patrick Sarpong, four more suspects have been picked up through Police investigations.

He, however, refused to give further details on the arrest, except to say that the suspects were assisting the police in investigations into the matter.

Nana Ankoana was shot in the chest by unknown assailants while he was relaxing in a porch in his private residence in Seikwa on Monday, November 4, 2013.
