Four die in motor accident at Suhum

Suhum (E/R), May 27, GNA – Four persons were killed on the spot and 15 others seriously injured when the Benz bus on which they were travelling from Accra to Burkina Faso collided with an articulated truck at Suhum New Town on Thursday.

The bodies of victims, whose identity was yet to be established, had been deposited at the morgue of the Suhum Government Hospital while the injured were also on admission at the hospital.

According to the police, the accident occurred when the articulated truck going towards Accra, was overtaking a vehicle and attempted averting a collision with an un-coming Toyota Landcruiser in front of the bus, which was travelling from Accra to Burkina Faso.
