Forty-year-old farmer commits suicide

A forty-year- old farmer, William Senyo, has shot himself in his bedroom at Doctorkrom, near Tarkwa Breman in the Western Region.

The Sekondi Police, who confirmed the incident, told the GNA on Friday that the sub-chief of Tarkwa Breman, Nana Amoako reported the tragic incident to the police.

The police said the sub-chief received the information on the death of Senyo from his daughter, Afia Senyo, and subsequently relayed the information to the police station.

The corpse has been deposited at the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital mortuary-pending autopsy.

Police investigations into the case continue
