Forty food crop farmers attend workshop

Nkawie (Ash), Oct. 13, GNA – About 40 food crop farmers at the weekend attended a day’s workshop on managerial skills organised by the Atwima office of the Department of Co-operatives.

The workshop was designed to let the farmers into the activities of the Agricultural Service Sub-Sector Investment Project (ASSIP). Addressing the farmers, Mr Stephen Ofosuhene, the Atwima District Co-operative Officer, said the time had come for farmers to acquire the requisite knowledge in management to enhance their businesses. He advised them to share ideas and knowledge so as to derive maximum benefits from their operations.
