Former Vice President Aliu Mahama to be discharged soon – Aide

Relatives and close aides of former Vice President Aliu Mahama say they aren’t sure of when he will be discharged from the Korle Bu Teaching hospital where he has been on admission for over a week.

President Mahama visited the ailing former Vice President a few days ago and asked the hospital to do everything within its power to give the best care available to the ex President.

His Special Aide Kojo Frimpong in an interview with XYZ News the president might have issued the directive after his visit at the hospital last Thursday. He added that he is hopeful that the Vice President may be discharged soon.

“We were hoping that he would have been discharged long ago but unfortunately things couldn’t go the way we wanted and everything depends on the Doctors”.
