Former President Kufuor calls on Mahama

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has called on President John Mahama at his official residence in New York, USA.

A statement issued by the Flagstaff House Communication Bureau said Mr Kufuor is attending some side events at the on-going United Nations 68th session while President Mahama is leading the Ghanaian delegation to the UNGA.

The meeting followed President Mahama’s participation in a number of events including a World Bank/UNDP forum on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Ghana and the Global Alliance for Vaccination & Immunisation (GAVI) & the Global Fund also hosted a side event on harnessing the power of global public-private partnerships in the Post 2015 agenda.
