Flight Lieutenant, Jerry John Rawlings( RTD.) was Head of State and 1st President of Ghana of the 4th Republic from 1993 to 2001.
Former President, Jerry John Rawlings is married to Nana Konadu Agyeman. They have three daughters namely Ezanetor Rawlings, Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings, Amina Rawlings and one son, Kimathi Rawlings.
In October, 2013, he received an Honorary degree, Doctorate of Letters from the University for Development studies.
Today June 22 marks his 68th birthday.
