Former PCG synod clerk laid to rest

Sekyedumase (Ash), Feb. 15, GNA – The mortal remains of the late Reverend Adolf Kwaku Sah, former Synod Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), was laid to rest at Sekyedumase, his hometown.

He died in November, last year, at the age of 86. The Right Reverend Dr Yaw Frimpong-Manso, Moderator of the Church, at the burial service, eulogised the late Synod Clerk for his sublime qualities of honesty, modesty, self-discipline and service to humanity. “The life of the former Synod Clerk would continue to inspire members of the church.

“The late Rev. Sah served the Lord and the church with humility, commitment and in truthfulness and I expect the younger generation of Christians to emulate these qualities,” he said. Rt. Rev. Frimpong-Manso advised the country’s youth to lead upright lives.

Rev. Sah served in the church’s ministry for 41 years and is survived by the wife and nine children.
