Former NPP Upper West Regional Chairman dies

Alhaji Abudulai Issahaque, 83, former Upper West Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), died at the Wa regional hospital on Tuesday night after a short illness.

The late Issahaque was the NPP Regional Chairman since the formation of the party in 1992 until 2005 when he stepped down.

He is survived by three wives and 18 children.

According to a family source, the late Issahaque would be buried on Wednesday afternoon after Muslim prayers.
