Former NPP Organizer woos voters for Nana Akufo-Addo

Effiduase (Ash), July 27, GNA – The immediate-past Ashanti Regional Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Madam Mary Brobbey, has appealed to the party’s national delegates to elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as flag-bearer.

Nana Akufo-Addo, she said, has all that it takes to lead the party to electoral victory in the 2012 general polls.

“He is charismatic, experienced, dynamic, popular with voters, and is our best bet.”

Madam Brobbey was addressing a cross section of women activists of the party at Effiduase, in the Sekyere-East District.

The NPP would elect from among its five presidential aspirants, the one to lead the party to battle for political power, in election 2012, on August 7.

A total of 115,000 delegates would be voting in the innovative congress.

Madam Brobbey said the up-coming congress would define the nation’s destiny and urged the delegates to make the right decision.

They should be disciplined and comport themselves to ensure a successful congress.
