Former NPP functionary and 20 others defect to NDC

Agona Nyakrom (C/R) Aug 24, GNA- Mr Mohammed Lawal, former Agona West Constituency Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and 20 others have defected to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Welcoming them, Prof Francis Fianu, Vice Chairman of the constituency said the task of winning the upcoming elections demands the collective effort of all party supporters.

Prof Fianu said the doors of the party are open to all Ghanaians wishing to join hands with the Progressive Alliance to build the country.

Mr Samuel Oppong, MP for the area cautioned party members to refrain from disfiguring or removing flags, posters and banners of other parties.
