Former Head of Civil Service passes on

Dr Robert Nii Djan Dodoo, a former Head of Civil Service and a Member of the Council of State, is dead.

He died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Sunday, December 20, after a short illness.

He was 80 years.

Mr Benjamin Nii Darku Dodoo, a brother of the late Dr Dodoo said he would be laid in state on January 15, 2016 at his residence at Kokomlemle near the Challenge Book Shop and buried at the Osu Cemetery on Saturday, January 16.

The programme would be followed by the final funeral rites and thanksgiving service on the same day at the Wesley Methodist Church premises, near Palladium Cinema in Accra.

The deceased left behind a widow, Mrs Grace Earlgina Dodoo and five children; Dr Garland Dodoo, Madam Susuana Dodoo Alizer, Mrs Delores Bekoe, Miss Victoria Dodoo and Mrs Nelly Odoom.
