Former DCEs doubt feasibility of free SHS

The feasibility of the free SHS policy being touted by the New Patriotic continues to be questioned by the National Democratic Congress with just 10 days to elections.

The latest is from some former Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executives across the regions in the country who served under the late President John Evans Atta Mills.

At a news conference, the former Municipal Metropolitan and District Chief Executives (MMDCE’s) accused the NPP of misinterpreting facts to deceive the voting public.

According to them, the NPP failed to consult major stakeholders in the Educational Sector in order to check the feasibility of the free SHS policy being touted.

The former DCE of Jomoro also called on electorates to analyze the issues regarding Education being brought forward by the political parties and accept the alternative that the NDC is offering.

The decision on which alternative is being provided by the political parties is the best to salvage the Educational shortfall in the country would be made on December 7.
