Former Black Galaxies Coach Annor Walker Passes Away After Short Illness

Ghanaian football has been thrown into mourning following the death of veteran coach Annor Walker after a short illness.

Walker, who built a reputation as one of the country’s most respected tacticians, passed away while serving as the Technical Director of Division One side Vision FC.

His coaching career spanned decades and saw him manage several clubs, including Great Olympics and FC Samartex. He also took charge of Ghana’s Black Galaxies, leading them to the finals of the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria, where his tactical discipline and calm leadership earned widespread praise.

Tributes have poured in from across the football fraternity, with many describing him as a father figure and mentor to young players.

Annor Walker leaves behind a legacy of dedication, discipline, and an unyielding passion for the game.
