Former Ambassador promises ‘one house one toilet’ in Sunyani East

Ghana’s Former High Commissioner to Libya and Nigeria and independent parliamentary candidate for Sunyani East Constituency in the Brong Ahafo region George Kumi, has reiterated his promise of ensuring one house, one toilet for residents .

He maintained that it is one of the areas under water and sanitation he wants to address in order to curtail filth-related diseases in the constituency.

In a statement he issued in commemoration of the “World Toilet Day”, he stated “Political seasons have always been characterized with so many promises that electorates wonder if indeed these promises can be fulfilled. One of my major and / or key projects I have campaigned with and want to reassure my constituents that given the nod as member of Parliament I will implement is the “one house one toilet” project targeted at old settlements of the constituency”

He reminded residents of the Sunyani East Constituency that they have a responsibility to ensure a well-sanitized environment of which is having a toilet in their homes.

According to him, sanitation is one of his priorities in the area pledged to work hard in order to fulfill his promise of making Sunyani East Constituency one of the cleanest areas in the Brong Ahafo Region.
