Foreign missionaries to visit Volta Region in July

Ho, June 28, GNA-The Volta Regional Branch of the Ghana Youth For Christ (YFC) is to pay host to 40 overseas missionaries from different countries, involved in youth work, in July this year. The missionaries mostly students being led by Missionary Jerry Major under Project Serve would engage in activities including evangelism and community projects.

They would also partake in games, drama and organize leadership sessions for youths in the Region.

Reverend Jerry Hansen Wodanu, Volta Regional Coordinator of YFC told the GNA that the visit is to give the missionaries the opportunity to interact with their counterparts here and share experiences. He observed that a lot of opportunities abound in such programmes and urged youth groups in all churches to contact the YFC Secretariat for participation.

Reverend Wodanu expressed the hope that the interaction would enhance positive Christian cohesion among youths in the Region and urged the youth to take advantage of the opportunity to re-discover themselves.
