Food aid for Bolgatanga schools

Zaare (U/E), Aug 13, GNA – The US Government, has released 900 million cedis worth of food aid to the Evangelical International Ministry (EIM), an America non-governmental organization, for distribution to some schools in the Bolgatanga Municipality free of charge.

The aid, which comes under the theme: “Food for Peace”, would start in September this year.

Pastor John K. Yidana, Upper East Regional Counsellor of the EIM, announced the package during a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meeting of the Bolgatanga Model Primary School, at Zaare.

Mr Patrick Azika, PTA Chairman of the School, said the food aid would be utilized responsibly.
