The Friends of Bawumia (FOB) met with H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and in attendance were Regional Executives, Coordinators, National Executives, and some patrons. The meeting with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former Vice President and NPP flagbearer hopeful, was strategic to help reenergize the grassroots and give hope to the Executives of FOB. The event included prominent figures like Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Dr. Nsiah Asare, Anthony Karbo, and others.
Chairman of FOB, Mr. Sadam gave the welcome address with a message addressing previous, current, and future challenges for FOB, and further suggested some solutions. Coordinating Secretary Probuse Teiko did a presentation on FOB’s operational structure, challenges, and how we can make progress going forward.
FOB Chairperson Her Excellency, Babara Akuokor Benisa was officially introduced to the members. She emphasized unity, humility, and commitment, pledging her support for the group’s mission.
H.E. Dr. Bawumia congratulated FOB for their selfless and hard work during the 2024 campaign, and he entreated the group to start working hard for upcoming NPP primaries. He then assured the executives that he is now the Chief Patron of FOB.
The meeting ended successfully, with members reenergized to work hard to support Dr. Bawumia’s bid for the NPP primaries and the 2028 general elections.
