FM radio pastors misleading the people

Bekwai (Ash), April 12, GNA – The Rt Rev Daniel Yinkah Sarfo the Anglican Bishop of Kumasi, has said some radio pastors are not behaving as “good shepherds” of the present generation.

“We have many shepherds but not all of them are good shepherds especially the type of shepherds that are heard on our FM stations”, he said.

Rt Rev Sarfo said this at a service at Saint Francis Parish at Bekwai during which over 100 faithful were confirmed. He said these pastors give Bible texts, quickly move to other issues and follow it up with the place where they could be located.

Bishop Sarfo reminded teachers and heads of schools that they were shepherds since they were taking care of pupils and students. He urged teachers to take their job seriously by ensuring that the pupils and students entrusted into their care were effectively handled.
