Floods affect community

Twifo Praso (C/R) Mar. 29, GNA – The offices of Twifo Praso police station was among a number of government departments which got flooded following a heavy downpour at Praso on Friday. Other departments were Non-formal education statistics, national board for small-scale industries, national commission or civic education and the area council offices.

According to Mr Peter A.K. Ayirezang, Praso District Police Commander valuable documents like jackets, dockets exhibits and stationery were soaked and destroyed.

Meanwhile Mr Yaw Edu Asamoah, the district coordinating Director of Twifo-Hean-Lower Denkyira district assembly has inspected the offices and ordered the maintenance unit of the assembly to desilt the chocked drains which is the cause of floods during rains.
