Former Brong-Ahafo Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Yaw Dabie Appiah has described the Flagstaff House as a hub for corruption.
According to him, some Presidential staffers have started receiving kickbacks from individuals who are seeking for contracts with government.
Mr. Dabie alleged that people close to the President are cashing in at the expense of individuals who worked tirelessly for the party to come back to power. He indicated that people suffered to bring the party to power and there is the need for them to be satisfied by the leadership of the party.
He indicated that the constant calls for the provision of certificates before women are put under the school feeding programme should be avoided adding that these are the same things that will send the party back to opposition.
“When we were going for the election, some women worked the hearts out for the party to come to power. So what is with this thing about certificates before they are given contracts to work under the school feeding programme?
“Let us not do that because the women who worked were not asked for certificates before they followed the party during the campaign period. We should allow those who suffered for the party to enjoy because that is what will bring blessings to the party,” he said.
